Gully

Born in 1977, Gully is a French street art artist. He started graffiti at the age of 15. In 2000, he was one of the graffiti artists working on the RER C line.

From the street to the canvas, Gully develops an approach that incorporates marked references to art history. «I borrow characters or existing scenes that I stage in my universe», says the artist.

He does not copy my quote, interpreter, integrity. Van Gogh, Seurat, Warhol, Basquiat, Calder, Remington, Hopper, are thus part of his reference.

Often, the graffiti world is always present, creating an unexpected encounter between art and street art.
